The Cross Trust's financial support has enabled me to pursue a career in singing, through studying for a Masters.
Being in a position where I had to completely self-fund my course, it is only through the generosity of charities such as The Cross Trust that I have the opportunity to do what I love - every day.
Studying at the Conservatoire also enabled me to network and gain valuable contacts, which will in turn help me to sustain what is usually a very unpredictable career path!
Since being out in the profession, I have had the opportunity to work for various opera companies including Northern Ireland Opera, The Belfast Ensemble, Savonlinna Opera Festival in Finland, and more recently, I have moved to Cologne to take up a position at the Oper Köln. I am so grateful to The Cross Trust for its financial assistance throughout my studies, which has enabled me to get to where I am today.
