The Cross Trust helped me realise my dream of studying music at Berklee, one of the world's foremost music colleges, in Boston, USA.
My studies allowed me to develop a wide range of skills as a musician, including composition, arranging, improvisation and ensemble awareness, which would not have been possible without the financial support of The Cross Trust.
I am very grateful to be currently performing with some of the finest musicians in Scotland including Duncan Chisholm, Jarlath Henderson, Ross Ainslie and Adam Sutherland.
