The financial support from The Cross Trust made it possible for me to pursue a Master's degree at the University of Edinburgh, and engage with the programme to its full extent. The opportunity to learn from world-renowned lecturers and collaborate with a cohort of globally-minded peers was extremely rewarding, both personally and professionally. Through client consultancy projects, I have developed business plans for a Colombian agricultural exporter, and a Scottish social enterprise operating across Africa. I have also been fortunate to build a network of mentors across the University who have helped me immeasurably throughout the year.
