Thanks to support from The Cross Trust I have undertaken an undergraduate degree in History & Politics at the University of Edinburgh. The Trust's funding enabled me to spend a year at the University of Oslo, where I studied Runology and learned how to transliterate, normalise, and translate runic inscriptions. Following my interests in minority cultures and languages, I have also been fortunate to travel to Norwegian and Finnish Sápmi where I learned about Arctic and Sámi politics.
