Wildlife Documentary Filmmaking

Support from The Cross Trust has been absolutely amazing in helping me to complete my Masters. In light of the climate crisis and our dwindling wildlife population I feel it is a crucial time to be documenting and working with the natural world. And it's not just wildlife abroad that is threatened - Scotland has so many incredible species but currently 1/9 of our wildlife is endangered. It is a great privilege to study, film and photograph these animals to help get the message out in Scotland, and beyond, of what we stand to lose if we don't act. For my course I have filmed rescued circus lions in West Calder, macro-photography of frogs and small insects and urban wildlife in Glasgow. My graduation film will be basking sharks in the Outer Hebrides. Thanks again to The Cross Trust for helping me pursue this.
