Funding from The Cross Trust has given me the opportunity not only to study Adventure Performance and Coaching in Fort William, but to broaden my experiences outwith the University and make contacts and friends within the outdoor industry. My course is based on adventure sports and expects and requires me to take part in my own adventures. The Cross Trust funding has enabled me to invest in the safety equipment and professional training courses which are essential to my chosen career and being able to study, explore and live in the adventure capital of the UK has given me the opportunity to learn from some of the industry’s most accomplished coaches. I am very grateful to The Cross Trust for its support and belief in me and what I am trying to achieve.
