Iona Fyfe successfully sings her way into BBC Radio Scotland Final

Iona performed at BBC Radio Scotland's Traditional Musician of the Year Final 2021 which was broadcast on 31 January 2021 on BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Alba.

Iona is a singer from Huntly in the North East of Scotland and has received support from the Cross Trust throughout her singing career.

Iona has performed in many places accross the globe and this year in her home country of Scotland at BBC Radio Scotland's Traditional Musician of the Year Final.

The competition showcased a wealth of talent and performances from musicians from across the UK.

The circumstances were a little different this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Finalists' performances were pre-recorded in the foyer of BBC Scotland's Pacific Quay building in Glasgow with no audience.
